Jazz & Paint Evenings in Stonybrook

Wednesday evenings at the Jazz Loft in Stonybrook, Long Island invite people to join in listening to live jazz and to set up their easels to paint the musicians playing a wide variety of songs by favorites like Coltrane, Miles Davis as well as local talent. The Atelier at Flowerfield of St. James asks their instructors to join in the fun so people can watch a professional artist painting from life. Here is a oil sketch by Bill Graf. He teaches several classes at The Atelier from drawing and painting, portraits and on saturdays a graphic novel workshop for young people.
